OSRS is of course doing gangbusters. No surprise there, the game has been doing amazingly well and everyone understands it.
I'd recommend getting wary, however; I recall a couple of months ago that there were rumors the bigwigs were beginning to seem to
Osrs gold as the future as a result of financials, and this sort of information would really encourage that talk.
Positive attention is not always excellent.I think with the quantity of new devs they've hired this year, as well as MikeD saying that they still want to double the magnitude of the dev group, I would say that the direction has really realized that OSRS is their most powerful product now.
So long story short jagex needs to flip the amount of personnel available for the main match into OSRS.I mean that they kind of already possess. If you look at any news post, the number of mods
RSGOLDFAST OSRS has now is kind of insane compared to what it was another year.
I really don't know how many are especially RS3 since a great deal of mods work for your company and are shared between all projects. Either way, I do not think giving RS3 fewer mods will help the match any since they do need more staff in areas like art than OSRS, and the final thing RS3 wants is fewer upgrades.
Honestly, I think we do not desire more devs. At least not just a sudden doubling in the dev team dimensions. I really don't want half-rinsed content only for the sake of it, and I also don't desire genuinely bad ideas which are thrown in since someone had a notion that doesn't match our game.
