Animal Crossing Bells content is really frustrating. I understand nobody wants to compare this into Pokemon (since Sword/Shield have a lot of different issues past missing Pokemon and tends to cut features more often) but Animal Crossing is a string that has had nearly all of it's items/collectibles and attributes carried forward in some capacity. Even little things like getting a reward for conserving X quantity of money from the bank are directly up dropped.
New Horizons is a really conflicting game for me. On the other hand it really does move the series forward in certain wise ways (deocrating and landscaping, NookMiles is a much better execution of the MEOW Coupons from Welcome Amiibo) but in precisely the same time when you get down to the small details it seems as though it's less fully featured than New Leaf. I like the game a good deal, and moving back to enjoying my New Leaf city on the 3DS tiny screen is not exactly comfortable so I'm hardly going to fall New Horizons, but I can not shake the feeling it could be a lot better, and that I expect the game group hears that kind of feedback and strives to react to it.
My expectation at this time is they're secretly working on a significant content ditch which will come out across the anniversary of this game and they've only been spoon feeding us small upgrades to keep us invested. I really like the new features they've added and I really like the aesthetics of this game, but it has those old features that kept me spent in the sequence. NL obtained that fairly major amiibo update, something similar could do wonders for NH.
Yeah... I knew this was likely to occur the moment they implemented the slow-drip technique. New Horizons is an incomplete game, however, they needed to release Animal Crossing past March, I figure, even though it meant giving us waaaay less material than New Leaf. It's awful because New Leaf with New Horizon's customization and decoration could quite literally be a fantastic Animal Crossing game, but they really thought that customization could take the whole adventure for
buy Animal Crossing Items everyone, and that certainly has not worked out.
